Tires/wheels... Upgrade to 14" from 13" Who's done it?

Hi... My 2014 16 xrb has 13" wheels/tires. It's used, but new to me, and will need new tires, so I was looking into going with 14" wheel/tire combos for a better safety factor related to weight. just not sure of any clearance issues, as I would need to go to a 205/75/14 from the OEM 185/80/13

Seems like all should be OK, since it will only be about 3/4" wider and taller than OEM, but wanted to make sure I wasn't having tunnel vision and missing something.

Any thoughts?

TIA!!

The best part of upgrading if you have the space is the 87 MPH rating of the Goodyear Endurance. You may never need it but the 65 MPH limit on China bombs is way to easy to exceed by accident or in bad traffic.
You need to see if you have top clearance and width clearance when the springs are compressed. Like when hitting a bad pothole while loaded. If you have doubts then don't do it.

Keep asking, I bet someone with your model has done it and can give you an answer as to their success or failure.

I upgraded to D rateds in the 14 size Endurance from China bombs. That gave me a few hundred pounds and speed as mine were 14 C tires.

I don't have the same model but did upgrade and on the 19h the extra height is well worth it! I don't see what would stop you from doing it.

Yes I did this upgrade and had no issues. I also went from a bias-ply to a radial because it was supposed to be a smoother, cooler tire but honestly I can't tell the difference in the way the trailer pulls.
