Dow Window Leak

Working our way west after several days visiting (and paying) the Mouse in Orlando. Had a strong T’storm a couple days back and I rolled up the awning because of the wind. A bit later I noticed a few dribbles of water coming from the window in the door.
Disassembled the window today to discover the original sealant was dried out and cracking. Cleaned the frames and glass with a plastic putty knife and mineral spirits and replaced the original seal material with grey butyl tape.

The glass is sealed to the outer frame and the outer edge of the outer frame has another seal that seals the frame to the door. The inner frame holds everything together. Biggest part of the project was getting the old sealant off the outer frame.
