Mounting new propane regulator

I'm replacing propane regulator and I'm a bit confused... My new MEGR253 does not wave a thread in any of the 4 mounting holes.
Is it defect? Or in supposed to use some kind of thread-cutting bolts? Old regulator seem to have normal ones...
Anyone have any suggestions? Do I just force old bolts in hoping they will cut the thread? I don't want my regulator to fall off during next trip (or ever)
