The tray in the fridge drains down a small hose, to the back side. From there, it's either collected into an evaporation tray, or through the outside vents onto the ground.

Being a new unit, I'd recheck all the plumbing connections. I found that running hot water through the faucets allowed me to give the connections just a little bit of a turn. They have a rubber cone-shaped washer inside that does soften up a touch with initial use.

If that's not a source of your leak, touch under the crimps with a tissue. If there's a drip it'll show up. Let us know if you find something.

When camping in more humid areas I have noticed that condensation around the door seals of the refrig will gather and begin dripping/running down the front lower side of the refrig doors. I keep a thin towel at the bottom of the refrig doors when in those conditions.

X2

It has happened to us and it took a bit of time until we discovered where the water was coming from.

thanks for your comments. I am going to dry out the condensation tray inside the frigerator prior to leaving cg. when we arrived at cg we backed in on quite a slant toward the frigerator side which may have caused the water in the tray to spill over...everything else checks out...

I have noticed my evap tray has gotten clogged before not letting it drain (from the water slightly freezing then not having enough pressure to push the water out into the small basin outside), then it spilling inside the fridge. I ran the outside drain hose out the vent (so it is partially exposed) and have never had a draining problem since. I also agree with the other posters about condensation around the seals.

This is just an FYI...I did the same thing with the condensate drain hose, ran it out the vent so it would drain on the ground and wouldn't fill and overflow the pan. I had been having refrigerator problems prior to rerouting the hose, so when I took it to the dealer for another go-around to try to fix the problem I was having, the Norcold people told the dealer to put the hose back into the condensate pan, as it should not be hanging outside the vent. Why I asked? The answer was that when the hose is hanging outside and the wind is going past the opening of the hose, it COULD create a vacuum and suck the cold air from the refrigerator through the hose and subsequently warm the refrigerator. True? False? BS? I don't know, but at the time I would have done anything to keep my refrigerator from warming when I drive with the cab windows open. Driving with the cab windows closed, the refrigerator works perfectly. Put the cab windows down for some fresh air and the fridge temperature will go from the 30's to the high 50's. Again, just an FYI.
