Entry step warp

I have an electric stair (2 steps) on my Greyhawk 27DS '04. Lately it sounds like it is "warping" when you step on it. I think it is the top step that the electric step is mounted to that is doing the "warping". Any suggestions as how to fix? I have tightened the mounting bolts under the step of the RV that the stair is mounted to.

I had the same problem after hitting a curb or two. I ended up taking the steps off, four bolts and disconnect wiring. I had to use a press to straighten the step parts out that were bent. Put it back in after lubricating everything and it's worked fine since. I've learned to not hit any curbs also.
