Greyhawk 2010 31SS receptacle outlet

Hi,
I am new to this forum.. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem with the receptacle outlet under their tv that stopped working.. Already tried the fuse.

Any information on how to change the receptacle in the Jayco GreyHawk 2009 31SS.. It is located below the tv.. I would like to send a picture.. I asked an rv tech and said he had never seen this kind of outlet..Can I just replace it with a regular receptacle outlet?

Thank you!

Could it be powered by the inverter.

BTW get an electrician familiar with RV’s.

It's probably the safety outlet that has a relay on the back. Does it look like this?

Are the wires energized? If not then as Norty said it may be the inverter. If you have power to the outlet then yes you can replace it with a regular outlet.

I have the same looking plug in a 2005 grehawk 24 ss The plug in the tv area has an extra red wire ( 18 AWG )and an extra white wire MTV 600V AWM. The fuses are fine, the plug doesn't work, but I have power from the black wire. What do the extra red and white wires do?
