I purchased my front hellwig sway bar part#7718 directly from Hellwig suspension products website for our 2018 E450 Redhawk 29xk.

When I had my Chateau I did a search for Hellwig sway bar 2012 E450.
You might also check Roadmaster sway bars. When I got my Hellwigs, Roadmaster were also available and were 1/8" larger diameter. But also had a heftier price tag.

I edited my previous post to let you know there are also Roadmaster sway bars. They are a bit pricier, but also an 1/8" larger in diameter. At least the rears are. The fronts may be the same diameter. It's been a few years since I checked on them. A friend had them on his older E350 and said the difference was stunning.

I thought I read somewhere that the new 2021 E450 cutaway chassis has upgraded suspension compared with the prior model. Does anyone have experience with the 2021 chassis on a Redhawk and can comment on the handling?

This is on my 2021 Redhawk 24B. I do not have a caliper but looks to be 1 1/8".
I have a Roadmaster 1139-147 on the way.

I have a F350 SRW and North Point 315. Having said that to me the handling sucks. If you have driven a U-Haul that is about what you get. I'm fixing to do the Deluxe Everything plan to it. Roadmaster sway front and back, steering stabilizer and SuperSteer SS450 trac bar.

That's the stock OEM Ford sway bar, not the upgraded one.

I have a 2019 Jayco Melbourne 24L, the chassis is 2018 Sprinter. I’m looking at doing a few chassis upgrades. Is it worth changing front and rear sway bars to Hellwig? If I replace shocks is Koni better than Fox? Where did you purchase your sway bar kits and shocks?

I think changing the front swaybar is difficult. I was told it is an integrated part of the chassi?
I googled for the best price for the Hellwig swaybar (and it is not Amazon) Delivery time was 6 weeks. I bought the shocks from Agile in California. Great service. Have no expearance from Koni Shocks so can not compare.

Installed Hellwig Anti sway bars front and back on my 2000 31' Eagle last year. Very impressed. Should have done it years ago. This year addd the roadmaster steering stabilizer and new shocks. Still more improvement. So much more comfortable to drive now. Worth every penny- feel safer and more in control at all times.

Not sure if I will do anything to the front? The ride is so much improved with the rear Hellwig and Fox that I do not think It is worth spending more money on the suspension. We just finished a 1000 mile roadtrip. I did find myself sitting driving with one hand on the wheel when trucks showed up in the mirror. Before the upgrades that was a white knuckle experience.

I installed it on our 2017 Jayco Melbourne 24M, a Class C. The Hellwig is part No. 7254.
We drove about 700 miles this past week, on smooth four-lane roads and on rough two-lane back roads. It was our first outing with the new bar.
The Hellwig does not eliminate rocking side to side or rocking front to back.
But it does minimize it, a lot.
Instead of rocking down and up and then down and up, it just rocks down and then comes back to center. It does not flatten the road.
As for front-to-back rocking, it minimizes that too.
We bought our Hellwig online from a truck parts firm in Florida. At Hellwig, in California, I dealt with Maria, who is very good at customer service.
We live in Albuquerque.

You really want a big improvement, install the super steer track bar from Henderson lineup. I threw a bunch of money in to the suspension of my 2019 Redhawk 25R to try and get it to handle decent, and by far that Track bar was the biggest improvement! Night and day!, especially while towing! The 2nd best thing was Firestone Ride Rite rear airbags, followed by an alignment, New front sway bar And steering stabilizer, in this order.

It's "thirdktm," the original posted of the Hellwig anti-sway bar thread.
I purchased it through Realtruck.com in Florida. But it was not an easy exercise.
First, I phoned Hellwig, in California. Maria Esparsa, or something like that, answered. She was great. She emailed the names of about 10 or 12 retailers around the country who sold their products.
I opened the websites of every one. Realtruck.com had the best price. I phoned them. The man who answered told me they don't sell products for RVs. Well, Maria had given me a part number for my 2017 Jayco Melbourne 24M, on the Sprinter chassis. And she confirmed the part number: 7254. I called Realtruck again. By this time, I was emailing Realtruck. Finally, I placed an order, circumventing the man who didn't know what he was talking about. I paid via credit card. I was told the part was on back order and might take 60-90 days or something like that. I phoned Maria again, asking if it could be expedited if I bought directly from Hellwig. No, she told me. Then about three weeks later, it arrived, FedEx or UPS. Installed it, alone, with minimal difficulty. Then about a week later, an email arrived from Realtruck, saying my anti-sway bar would be arriving at the end of September. Uh, oh. I replied. It already has arrived, Please don't send another one. And please let me know that this request has indeed arrived there and that I won't be sent a second one. No one has replied to that....Oh, well....
