Make sure the signal amp is off. Push button next to antenna connection. Green = on, Dark= off.
Then go to tv and change input or source option on the menu for cable and re-scan for channels.

On the panel, the water pump switch is for when you don't have city water and want to use the onboard dc water pump. You need fresh water in your onboard tank and also may have to re-set some valves to (normal) in the outside utility closet.
water heater has 2 power sources. electric or propane depending on which you depress on the panel. If the wh tries to light 3 times when the gas switch is on and fails to light the red dsi/flt will stay on. That means the wh did not light on gas. Turn off and try again. dsi/flt means direct spark ignition fault

Tank heaters are for cold weather to keep your onboard tanks from freezing up.

There is a book you can purchase with the title [The Next Exit} It has every exit on the Highways highlighted in RED for being RV friendly, it also list what is off every exit for stores, gas stations, etc.

Know what the height of the Motorhome is and there should be a sign stating how much clearance is under the canopy

You will most likely have to go to menu on the TV and do a channel scan at each new location. Every Campground has a different Cable supplier.

If you have more than 1 input for the cable to attach to the motorhome, make sure you hook it up to the TV, and not satellite input

Next exit is also available in a APP.

Others have mentioned this too - make sure you know how high your motorhome is. Jayco says it's about 11 1/2' high.

Make sure any gas station canopy (or bridge or anything) is about 12 1/2' high or higher. Go slow!

Yes, you can fit in at most regular gas stations but sometimes getting in and our can be a really tight squeeze!

Me either. When I pull in I leave a $100.00 poorer. That can eat you alive on a long trip.

This setting is for sanitizing the fresh water tank. Nothing to do w/ Black or Grey.

Once a season, most of us add a diluted bleach solution to the fresh water tank, then fill the tank and let it sit for several hours to sanitize the tank and the lines.

Flipping the valves to that setting makes this process easier.

That other connection is either unmarked (on mine) or should say Black Flush. All it does is spray water into the black tank to help rinse things out.

You don't have to do this every time. I do it every third or fifth black tank dump.

If you do do it, you might want to use your non-potable (not the drinking) water hose.

Many campgrounds will have a water hose by the dump. Often it's labeled non-potable. Its that hose that's typically used to flush the black tank.

So far so good have dumped tanks every day and not had and messes thanks to all
Of you. At a friend's farm in Iowa now. Kids amazed at the farms. Another question when we
Are in the back bedroom
Occasionally we hear what sounds like a fan kick on and off. Can't figure out what that is. Noise seems
Like it is near the circuit breakers

Yep - that's what we hear in our Greyhawk.
Not super noisy but you can hear it when the coach is quiet.

And do you drink the water that comes from campgrounds ?

Surprised that this thread has gone on so far without anyone bringing the sanity of the owner into question. Loaning a practically new MH to a rookie taking 6 teenagers on a cross country trip is clearly something that no sane owner would ever do. Does this guy like you or hate you? He may be hoping you will total it and never bring it back OR that you will love it and offer to buy it. Either way you are now responsible for a fairly expensive road wagon and are allowing 6 teens to tag along who short of duct tape will not sit still for long once on the road. Between the cost of fuel and the bill at McD's you may have to turn around half way across the country. If the teens are excited at the site of a farm, hang on to your hat when you drive a few hundred miles out west and see nothing but sage grass and tumbleweeds.

Good luck and good sense. Is it your goal to return home with all 6 of the teens?
