iN-Command TPMS for RVs

I was looking at purchasing the Bluetooth TPMS system that is out there to monitor the tire pressure and temp of my tires on my Greyhawk. Was wondering if any one has added this on or know how good this add-on is? I saw talk about monitoring you tire pressure and temperature of your tires. Wanted to know if this would be a good investment for me.

There are many good units out there and everybody has their preference on brand but you get what you pay for....cheap units dont cut it. I have been very happy with the EEZ-Tire brand and run them on my Seneca and toad or trailer. I just swap them between the toad and trailers.

So is it hard to install? Did you need any thing else? Do you need something to boost the signal? Also thank you for the information. Jack

Installation sis pretty simple, there are several Youtube videos showing it. A booster depends on the length, on our 37' Seneca it was fine but sensors would cut in and out when pulling our 29' cargo trailer so I added a booster.

Ok I have a question for all. How high above the tire pressure should you be? Also how low should you set the low tire pressure ? I know the tire pressure will rise going down the road but how much does it go up? Need some general idea on what the range should be? Is there a temp setting on the monitor? If so how do you know what range this should be set at? Not to up to date on these eezrv tpms on how to set the range.

You can set the cold, high, low and temperature to anything you want for each tire. The manual recommends high pressure to be set 20% above cold pressure and low pressure to be set 10% below cold tire pressure. You kinda have to experiment on your high and lows and adjust as you need to. In my case I have cold pressure set to 90psi on our Seneca and high pressure set at 108 and low at 82. I had to up the drivers side rear tires a little higher as they run a little warmer that the others due to a steel wheel on the inside and an aluminum wheel on the outside and the exhaust runs down the drivers side and exits right in front of the tires.

Here is a link to the manual if you want to see what’s involved.

Thanks was not sure how to set them before I went and bought one. Also is there any air extension valves better than another? I know I will need them even before adding the tpms system. Not sure what to get and what style to purchase? Again thank you for your help. Jack a newbee to the Motorhome.

does anyone know the difference between Flow Through sensors vs anti theft sensors? The flow through sensors are a but more expensive?

Thanks,

Thanks,

With the flow through sensors you can add or let out air without removal but they are bigger. The regular sensor has to be removed to add or let out air. The anti-theft cap goes on the regular sensor and its a cap that just spins if somebody tries to steal it, to put them on you use a supplied wrench.
