Loose fresh water tank

I was under my RV yesterday looking at the driveline to gauge how hard replacing a driveline bearing would be.

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...tml#post981900

Every time I get under this RV I get a surprise.

Seems the freshwater tank is sitting in a frame but in no way fastened down. You can push up on it from the bottom and there is about 1/2 of movement. The tank is empty as we seldom dry camp.

I also noticed that the heater pad which is under the tank and on top of a frame member is delaminating from the tank??

It was not obvious to me how this tank can be removed it almost looks as the frame captures it permanently.

Anyone else noticed this situation?
I do not like this as things bouncing around on rough roads, usually leads to failure, not to mention the noise.

Has anyone had to remove this tank ...?

Ideas on how and what adhesive to use to reattach the heater pad??

My heater pads started to fall off within 6 months of purchasing the RV. Someone here recommended Eternaboond, which I used after cleaning the surface. No more problems with them after that.

Is Eternabond a tape or does it come in an adhesive also??

The Eternabond I'm familiar with is a tape. You'd tape around the edges of the pad. IIRC, the manufacturer recommends a 3M spray adhesive.

I'm not sure if our tank is attached to anything, or more "contained" in a space. I'll have to look.

Thanks for the help ......
That tank is so buried above the exhaust and other stuff taping it will be fun .

Contacted Jayo will see what they say and if they will fix it. Then again getting into a dealer is like watching paint dry .

Adhesive for tank heaters

Here is what I found googling around.
I am thinking spray adhesive might help in my tight installation.

From general searching:
https://amzn.to/3y6BqTb

From the Ultraheat website:

I used "77" to attach Reflextrix to my fresh water tank. I didn't expect much, I planned for it to come loose, but after 3 years or so - it's holding.

I find a lot of uses for 3M 77, so I always have a can around. Buying some "90" is on my to-do list.
