But don’t store it in a enclosed compartment unless you get it really clean. The bbq smell is not good. We carry or nexgrill in the truck bed. Love that grill had the Coleman rode trip for awhile. Or new nexgrill is much better lighter easier to carry etc.

I have the 17" Blackstone griddle, was going to get the nice portable BBQ to complement the outdoor kitchen in the 224bh we have, glad I waited.
Loved the Blackstone as we just returned from first trip using the trailer and griddle. I cooked bacon, steaks, eggs, fajitas, chicken, zucchini, aparagus, toasted a couple bagels lol. I couldn't get over how awesome this griddle worked. Maybe someday I'll get a BBQ but if I had to take one cooking appliance, the Blackstone would be it.

Griddle and BBQ are not even in the same league! BBQs flavor food as their drippings vaporize as they hit the extremely hot surfaces below the grill.......a griddle is basically frying stuff. I have cooked every item you've mentioned on my Weber, I also have a griddle that fits the grill if I choose to use it, and I have......pancakes, sausage, eggs, bacon etc., and on the grill my steaks taste of BBQ not like they're fried on a griddle. LOL

We use Blackstone 22” grill with the legs. It totally folds up and fits into a black storage box from Costco. It’s an awesome grill we cook all our meals on it. Fits in the last compartment In the right side. We have 2018 GH MVP.

I'm just the opposite...I use the the 22" Blackstone and have the Weber Q2200 as my back up. So, basically we bring both when we camp!

grills

Weber Q 1000 for the two of us. Absolutely love it, and did get the weber griddle for it. Griddle on left, grill on right. Best of both worlds. Did NOT get adapter to hook up to the FW LP as I didn't want a hose that people could trip over. The little tanks are cheap and run for hours. My favorite mod though is that I drilled holes in the legs and installed screws to make a leveling system so when it's on a picnic table the eggs don't slide to the edge of the griddle.

I have the portable cart for my Weber but I do find my first choice is to set the BBQ on a picnic table. I too always ensure the grill is level, the griddle I use covers the whole grill, it has a small built in reservoir so when frying bacon most of the grease runs into it.........and I agree needs to be level so the eggs don't run.......I level the picnic table. I run the BBQ from an 11lb propane tank, connect the grill with a hose and place the tank under the table!

Country Smoker

I know you said Propane, but, this Country Smoker pellet grill is way more versatile than my propane grill ever was. I used the propane for one season and retired it. JMHO.

You can’t smoke or BBQ low and slow. Great for eating food cooked in its own fat.

I have the 22 it is a backup to the Weber.

Our camp BBQ grill is one like this:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Expert-Gr...lack/238454155

I leave it out all the time if it walks away I am only out $25.00. They last for years before the burners rust out. I also have a 2 burner Coleman gas stove that is converted to 1lb propane tanks that I cook outside on. The old white gas type of stove. Maybe it shows my age, but it works for us and works well. Maybe the things you all cook with do a better job, but I do not get any complaints with what I have.

Fair point. I actually have two small grills I carry with the RV. It came with a version of the flame king - this - which works well enough for simple things.
Also have a Camco Olympian 5500 - here - if I need to cook more stuff on the grill. neither are useful for smoking, such as making ribs, etc.

One day when I have patience/time, I would like to get a small green egg or pellet smoker and do some real stuff.

I have this exact setup and love it. The roller cart breaks down near flat so I'm able to store both the grill and the cart in the front of my 377...

Follow the directions on this forum and it easily converts to quick connect right from the side of the RV.

For smoke go to Amazon and search smoke tube for pellets. Light it with a torch and blow it out after 5 minutes. Close the lid on the grill. For burgers I smoke for 30 minutes before startng the grill. Also, you can cold smoke stuff like cheese. Just don't turn on the grill

I'm a lumpwood fan, so it's a Cobb Grill for the two of us.

Weber Q1000 for steaks, ribs, hamburgers, tin foil trout and large fish fillets. For just about everything else it's the Blackstone 22" . We use the one pound canisters, they gives us more flexibility on where we set up ( I also refill them so the cost isn't to bad).
