Yeah, there seems to be one set that most of the manufacturers use. The issue is the aluminum has to be thicker, which apparently doesn't allow for 2 of them to be used on the rear.
Rotating them has been pretty simple. The leveling jacks can raise one side completely off the ground and only takes me about an hour to do the whole thing, including changing out the TPMS batteries.

Your right the inside rear is a steel wheel on the Melbourne 24L. I’m wondering whether I can replace the steel with Aluminum wheels. The aluminum wheels are so much thicker. I need to talk to a wheel specialist.

I've worked in the heavy truck industry for 30 years with cooling tests, etc - mostly on diesels. If you're not seeing a temperature issue, keep an eye on your fan clutch to be sure it's healthy. It might be working harder to keep water temps in line with design margin.....

Is there no room under the bedroom? My 2013 Greyhawk KS had a spot made for the spare under the bed room & out of the way of everything, but I had to add the hoist. There is an excellent thread on it in the class C forum.

Yes i have perfect spot for mine too under bedroom and out basement storage on our 29xk. I am a fabricator and just need to get the winch and i will have in under there within about an hour

Roadmaster already sells one already made up. It mounts in the receiver on the rear and has a receiver built into the mechanism so you don't lose the rear receiver. It has an extendable bar that allows you to pivot the tire and wheel to the ground so you don't have to try to lift is either up or down. I always wanted a spare too and now I have it. I purchased a tire off the internet and a wheel from "wheels" which is a good organization. I have a matching wheel.

A bumper mounted spare on the rear has worked very well on our 30' Jayco fiver.
I've been able to off-set it a bit so I can stil use a trailer hitch for a bike rack.

I used a hitch mounted spare tire carrier in the rear and then when I began towing with the dolly, I put that tire under the bed. Now I have different problems, but one of them was solved with this custom rear tire holder.

I am interested in this solution! We have a 29MV and there is plenty of room between the rails under bedroom. Local dealer in Vegas gave me the number of a fabricator here, but having some reference photos and details of the hoist model would be great. Thanks!

Spare Tire Mount
I bought a new 2018 26Y Greyhawk which did no have a spare. Reviewed other suggestions and finally mounted mine underneath between the frame and ahead of the hitch. Had to cut/drill a piece of 2"x2" angle for support and one hole in the bottom of each frame. Used 1/2 inch bolts. It is now up and out of the way, but there IF needed. Shop for a wheel online and bought a new tire at local tire shop. Done deal Best of luck ever how you go.

I used a hide-a-spare mount on our Jayco tt. Don’t know if it will work on a mh. Freed up back bumper for storage boxes.

Bumper mount
Buy a bumper mount and reverse the mounting bracket and it will mount close to the bumper not 6 inches away, I tow a Jeep Wrangler. When you mount the tire reverse the rim and it places the tire right up against the bumper. I can send you a pick but I’m away from the rig for the next couple of days.

That was going to be my recommendation as well. I mounted one under our TT to carry the waste tote. Don’t know if it is a viable option under a MH, due to space and weight considerations. Would likely be limited on mounting options with the driveline in the way. Something else to consider though.

Go to Amazon and buy Gizmo spare tire carrier. It's $68 and fits the bumper very well.
