Steel braided valve stem ext.

Anyone use them secured to wheel rim rubber stem stabilizers. Do they stay in place? What brand extensions and stabilizers??. Too many options to choose from. Tired of pulling wheel covers to get to inner valve stem, help...

I ended up discarding my braided extensions because the centrifugal forces caused the braid to rub against the wheel cover which eventually worked its way through the braid.

What model and chassis do you have? I would stay away from any type extensions if you have rubber valve stems. Even if they are "stabilized" there is a chance of failure at the valve. If you have wheel simulators or hub caps and you choose to go this route I would also secure the simulator to the wheel with SS tie wraps to keep them from flying off or spinning in place over time and damaging your extensions. Was there not any good recommendations in your other thread?
