Figure up the wattage for all of your power users... and don't forget the converter/charger.
Compare to the amperage available so you don't frequently overload.
My trailer I can use both coffee pots at the same time, but not at the same outlet.
It doesn't make sense, but both outlets are on the same circuit and it pops only if I plug both pots into the same outlet.

Has anyone talked to you about a possible addiction to caffeine, if you need to run TWO coffee pots at the same time?

Caffeine is a good addiction! I don't start twitching until late afternoon.
Gotta drink it now before my heart goes bad and the doc takes me off of it.

I agree, i have a 3500 watter inverter generator and when it exceeds 30 amps the breaker on the generator will flip and the motor will keep running. Same thing happens when you put too much load on the generator. My wife was starting the generator once, but accidentally left both ACs on. The generator revved up as both AC compressors kicked on and then the overload light came on, power stopped flowing and the generator stayed on at idle.

Since this incident, I am very careful to either push the temperature up so AC does not come on or to turn it off altogether when I am using the microwave or plugging in the tea kettle. I plan to use an Instant Pot for meal preparation and will do the same practice. And, I guess, since the shore line is also 30 amps, I’ll have to do the same when connected to a campground power pedestal.

Best lesson learned — a motor home is NOT your house and you are not home.

Another thing that gets overlooked when brand new is that tiny piece of tape inside your smoke and propane alarms that protects the battery. I had no idea for the first 3 trips that we had neither alarm working. Lets all not to forget to yearly check our RV home alarm batteries as we do our brick and mortar homes.

That’s an excellent idea.

GFI not the problem. A/C is not on GFI.

My best friend, who works for jet blue, use to be the tech on all test flights on newly delivered aircrafts. He would fly with the test pilots and trouble shoot in mid air if necessary. He always tells me “go to the power source first, check and reboot every system in question”! That’s what he does! They have redundant systems! Glad to do that with 6 wheels on the ground!

oh oh anything that creates heat uses more power than you would expect, using the electric kettle and the AC together tipped you over the edge. When we use the geni we do not use anything electric that generates heat. We heat water on the propane stove and used a french press for coffee. .
