5th wheel pin weight

Recently took my Northpoint 377 and Ram dually TV to truck scale. Steer axle was 5120, drive axle was 6840 and trailer axle was 11260. Then measured TV alone at 8990. Can I safely presume pin weight at 2970? 5120+6840-8990=2970.

Yes you can safely presume.
Is that weight with truck and trailer fully loaded and ready for the road and camp?

That's the way it's figured out but seems pretty light on the pin. Our fiver is a bit shorter and lower GVWR and we're about 3300# on the pin when travelling.

2970 is what I calculate too. In addition the GVW of your 5th is 14230. Like 2na asked, are you loaded to camp? My impression is a 377 is closer to 16k when all the “stuff” is on board.
