Advice on the Calgary Stampede

OK like lots of stuck at home folks we have just finished the Heartland series o Netflix and are anxious to go to the Calgary Stampede. We have never seen a real Rodeo.

We are looking to book the 2022 show.

Has anyone been? Can you advise on full hook up campgrounds?

How do you do the show? We mainly want to see the Rodeo and some exhibits. etc and the Chuck Wagon races - don't care about Midway rides but love deep fried food - we are from the South.

We stayed at RIVERBEND in Okotoks which is about 30 miles South of Calgary.

We took a couple days since the Rodeo is in the afternoon and then the Chuck Wagon Show is in the evening those require separate tickets and both events include your admission to the park so you can get there early or stay late to enjoy everything else. Many of the on site shows are included with the general admission

There are numerous restaurants along with the usual "FAIR"FOOD'.. It's a great time.
