slides in or out during short and long term storage

What is the opinion about storing a pinnacle with slides in or out for long or short term storage?

Always in for me. Everything in my trailer is accessible so there is no need to extend the slide. That was a requirement when searching for an RV.

If I was storing it outside they would be in. I leave mine out when stored, it is in a building.

I leave mine out when not on the road because I use it from time to time. Frig, micro, tv, water ( sometimes hot also).

slides in or out during short and long term storage

During the summer it’s parked on my mountain property so I leave them out when it’s up there. When it’s at home I leave it in.Click image for larger version

All the dealerships around here have them on their lots with slides extended. If that was a problem, I'm guessing the manufacturers would tell them not to do that.

Do you really think they care? Were they leveled properly with the stabilizers extended...probably not. They won't have to deal with the consequences once they leave the lot.

Long term definitely in, when they are in there is a lot less stress on the slide. I am pretty sure I read somewhere you aren’t supposed to leave them out for really long periods of time.

And never use slide supports, you can damage the slide.
