BAL slide out issue

My '21 Jayco fifth wheel has a cable driven slide that has an issue of only one motor operating when attempting to open the slide. Generally after a few attempts I am able to get both motors to operate and the slide opens. I have not had any issues when bringing slide in.
Any ideas what might cause the one motor to sporadically operate?

Might be a wiring issue. A RV tech told me with slide motor failures, he's seen 9 out of 10 times it's the wiring being pinned, stretched, broken, or not connected properly during build.

I agree with this being a harness / wiring issue. I would start by tracing the wiring from the motor end.

I had a similar issue with mine. I found that Jayco uses those cheesy compression wire connectors and one set of connectors above the slide was not making good contact. Fixing that solved my problem.
