Bedroom door in Eagle 317 RLOK

We have a new 2019 Eagle, 317 RLOK. I just noticed the bedroom door stops about 3” from the floor. Is this by design or was the wrong door installed? If by design, any idea why? Thanks.

I believe it’s by design. Airflow. My 321RSTS is the same.

In the cold months you'll appreciate having that cold air on the floor getting back to the furnace.
