Update: I will be in Louisiana for two months and close to the CG there is an extremely highly rated Jayco dealer. I contacted Jayco and asked them if I could have them do the warranty work based on the fact Jayco issued an authorization for the repair. They said that authorization number only was for my purchasing dealer (2,600 miles away) and that I would have to take it to the available dealer and have them look at it and get a new authorization number!!!!!!!!! WTF!! It took a month to get the current authorization and I'm only going to be in Louisiana for two months. What a bunch of crap.

Have you talked to that dealer yet? He may not even do work on units he didn't sell. Could very well by why JAYCO told you to contact them. The RV Industry and warranty is not all cut and dry.

The fact that it came that way is ridiculous, but it is what it is. Hopefully they can issue you a warranty claim quickly. If not and it was me, I'd do it myself. Plastic pipe is easy to cut/ manipulate and glue. The unfortunate thing is you'd have to drop the under belly to shorten things up. Best of luck!

I would hope if they have the last authorization number it would be much quicker to do.

I also have a 2016 jayco and wiped out my whole waste valve system on a minor dip. I am afraid to bring it in to see how much its going to cost to fix.
