Drinking water system

Our new pinnacle 36FBTS is equipped with a bottled drinking water spigot at the kitchen island. I have found the pump and turned it on. Pump information says itís a non-priming pump. Unable to get water to siphon through to the spigot. Anyone else having this problem?

Have you checked the connection of the inlet tube at the pump?

I just checked. Both input and output hose connections seem to be tight. We have a full jug in the basement. The only thing that comes out of the spigot is air.

We have the same set up in our Eagle but ours in under the sink so it cycled through super fast. On your set up, it is a long way for the water to travel so it may just take some time or the hose got swished or kinked.
Turn off the pump, open the tap, I would take the hose off the inlet and outlet blow in the hose towards the jug (inlet), blow towards the tap (outlet), and that will let you know if there's an obstruction.
Or tale to the shop for advise/warranty work.

There is maybe a water supply valve to turn on? Not sure about the drinking water system on the new Pinnacles. On the Northpoints and Pinnacles, finding the water shut-off valve for the fridge is like playing where's Waldo and is a right of passage for new owners. In our rig, that valve is behind a panel under the sink on the left hand side and almost out of sight near the floor pass-through. Maybe one for the faucet?

On our eagle I had to open the small faucet to release air and help the pump prime.

Had a similar issue on our 2020 Pinnacle 32RTLS. Our pump is in the kitchen island above the pull out garbage area. The panel behind the garbage can has 4-5 screws. We had to remove this as behind there was a shut off valve and it tees off to the ice maker (ice maker wasn’t getting water either). The connection was loose and sucking air. Tightened it and all worked fine. As info there is a second shut off behind the bottom drawer next to the fridge on the outside wall as well. Not sure if yours has that but I’d check this too.

Does the pump kick on when you open the spigot? If so, do you get water out of the fridge water dispenser?

I’ve tried everything everyone has suggested. I’ve checked connections. I’ve found two valves. I’ve blown through lines. I run the pump. After a while it stops and flashes red. I do it again. I run it with spigot open and closed.

Anything else? I’d really like to get it working.

Does the water dispenser from the fridge work?

If the lines are clear from obstruction, bottle to pump, and pump to spigot, and you checked for any air leaks, it leads to a defective pump.

You mentioned in your first post it's a "non-priming pump", is it suppose to prime itself, or does it need to be physically primed manually?

My pump is a Flojet BLC1011010A. Based on this ebay listing of this pump it is self priming.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Xylem-Floje...e/123008454310

When I turn my pump on, under the sink, it primes. The pump has directional flow. Try reversing the lines on the pump and see if that works.

When I turn on the pump air blows out so I think the lines are correct. Iím considering using a compressor and blowing air through the line from the water bottle in storage bay. The lines are very rigid so a kink is not likely.

I know how frustrating this is, your symptoms are identical to mine. The pump sucks air then has to be reset, over and over again as part of its safety shut down feature. Per my earlier post, I finally found an air leak where the connection wasn’t tight. Given the symptoms it sure seems to be that but perhaps not. My bet is that there is a leak somewhere and it has to be before it tees to the fridge given they both aren’t getting water (was same as mine). Even though it seemed tight it ended up being the connection at the valve behind the garbage can and behind the cabinet wall. But

Ours was working. My ice bucket in the freezer got full. Slow coming out of the fridge. Then the next day you hear it pressurizing and it will not pull water through either. Red light blinking. Not sure what is going on. I have submitted a request to Jayco. I'll let you know of I hear anything.

I removed mine because it seemed like a potential issue refilling the bottle and keeping it sanitary. I added a filtration filter that I have is our place in San Clemente that has really hard water and delivers great tasting water. Culligan US-EZ-4

We are now up and running. No kinks, no air leaks, both valves open, and water in the 5 gallon jug. Took the pump from under the counter. Took off the nose cap of the pump. Nose cap is opposite the power button end. Under the cap is an adjustable screw. Tightened the screw a little and water started coming out the spigot. Adjusted screw to maximize flow. Remounted the pump.
