Furnace update/repair

The furnace in our 377 has been acting up since the day we bought it. After one warranty repair (by Camping World) which later failed, I decided to take care of it on my own. The fuel and time saved paid for the $81 replacement control board.

Although, when I went to pull the furnace since there is no outside access I found water lines directly in front up it. Just stupid!

I re-routed the lines with shark bite 90 degree elbows and some 1/2" PEX and now removing the furnace was relatively easy. Hoping I don't have to do it again but if so, there's nothing to it.

Before - water lines make a nice cage
After - clean

You'd think they would have done that if the first place! Good job.

I am dealing with an Atwood furnace that won't turn on. The blower turns on, the igniter starts sparking, but no gas. I tried the reset switch without success. I think it's either the circuit board or the gas valve. I saw on a picture of a furnace circuit board that there is a 5 amp fuse on the board, so I'm hoping it just the fuse, but I have to remove the whole furnace to get access to the fuse....stupid arrangement!

What furnace do you have and where did you buy your new circuit board? My furnace also has no outside access and is underneath my water heater, but at least no water lines in the way.

I have a Dometic DFLD40121. I found it referred to as Atwood/Dometic depending on who you talk to.

The board came from https://www.ebay.com/itm/182617630520
The part number I pulled from the owners documentation and then confirmed when I pulled the furnace.

I had the same problem with no gas...turned out to be the sail switch which I also replaced.

I got that from Dyers RV Parts
95468 Dometic Atwood Furnace Low Air Flow Sail Switch $8.99. For that one I called Dometic to confirm the correct part.

Thanks for the link Bill. I won't be taking the furnace out for a couple of weeks. We are leaving on a 2 week trip next Thursday...just hope we don't run into very cold weather. Going to Northern Nevada, Southern Utah and the night time temps have been running in the 60's.

Was there a part number on your circuit board? I have been looking at Amazon, but ebay might be a good idea....at least the price was right.
