Inflation pressure of airbags

Does anyone use airbags of 3500 dually? Realizing it's a personal choice, what pressure do you inflate to for a better ride- not sag. Pin Weight of 2600 pounds. I .am inquirying about LOADED pressure.

I did on the 2500 Duramax. The standard is to measure your back bumper from the ground without a load. Attach the load and air back to that height. You may have to adjust up or down a bit to get the headlight right since most trucks are tail high and the headlights are aimed for that fact.

Once you have that pressure set you can just air to that pressure without having to measure. Mine was 55-65 loaded with the 14K Cyclone.

2020 GMC 3500 quad cab long bed. Unhooked - run 10LBS, hooked with 2020 Pinnacle - 30 or 35lbs depending on roads. Rough - 30Lbs. Rides like a dream.

I ran 65 on a RAM 3500 SRW and Pinnacle 36 KPTS. Pin weight was ~4300LBS. That pressure leveled me out and right back where the truck sat empty.

Inflation pressure of airbags

Interesting discussion. Been trying to figure this out on my Chevy 3500. Unloaded, the truck has some rake with or without to minimum 5lbs. I leave the 5 in there and then when I hook up my 321RSTS it becomes 10lbs from the compression and level with the front end. If I aired up to unloaded height I’d have rake when towing and that doesn’t seem right.

If leveled from the factory or aftermarket I guess it would be a different story. I think Chevy/GMC is a the only with noticeable rake. At least up to the 2020 models. They are factory level I believe like the Ram and Ford.
