Looking for a shower head replacement

Greetings,

Typically, the water pressure is not the greatest at RV parks. Once you add your filters and possibly a water softener, the pressure is even less. The last time out I was wondering if anyone has found a replacement shower head/handle that is designed to restrict flow enough that it actually comes out faster. I remember buying one of those “As seen on TV” shower heads 30 years ago when we lived in a house that didn’t have much pressure, and it worked quite well. Just wanted to know what the group has to say about it. Thanks

This is the one I highly recommend as it works great on low pressure. If you search Amazon, you will find (I believe) that they come in white, gray, and perhaps chrome. They (oxygenics) also makes a different design that I have never tried as this one works great. I also have a similar one for my home shower. ~CA

I second Craigs recommendation. I use that exact some one and it has been the first upgrade I recommend to every new RV Owner...

I installed one of these from Homedepo

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Waterpik...9M5E/313668398

And one of these control valves below shower handle.

This unit works great, even with the on board water pump. Only problem with it, the messaging feels so good, you might stand a chance of emptying your water tank real quick :-)

Went through same search. Eco-camel was the winner for us.

Have had the same oxygenics head for 10 years and 2 trailers. If it breaks I’ll get another.

I agree with all the Oxygenic users. We bought one and replaced the factory shower head even before our first trip. As mentioned by craigav, it works great even with low pressure.

By popular acclaim, you all win. Mine came in yesterday, will install shortly. Were you all able to use the OEM holder? and if so, where did you mount the pause water button? Thanks

i mounted my water control valve at the inlet of the shower handle and it rest nicely on the shower holder. i tried to mount it at the outlet on the wall control valves but the valve handle will prevent from screwing it into place. You would have to loosen the wall control valve to get it away from the wall then place the control valve.. I think you'll be happy with it on the shower handle.

Too easy. Went out to the camper with the new shower head and attachment options, and new hose. I literally unscrewed the old head, screwed the little on/off button at the base of the new head, and screwed it to the old hose. Less than 5 minutes. I then stood there for a few minutes wondering if I did anything wrong, lol.
