Lightbulb New 2022 Jayfeather electrical issue

November 2022 took delivery of new Jayfeather 25RB and had problems maintaining power while running the heater, power drained battery and lights went dim then out. Trailer was plugged in to 120 share power. Any thoughts on the source of the problem. Not getting a good response from dealer. Thank you, Stan

Check converter output fuse, sounds like you have no output from converter and your 12 volt things we’re running on the battery and the furnace will drain the battery quickly.

All fuses appear good and I checked the charger output with voltmeter and did not get the appropriate 13.6 volts. Thanks for responding. Have not heard the charger for kick on in three days? Stan

Start with the basics .........make sure you have 120v power going into the camper . If so, maybe the main breaker is tripped. (sometimes they appear to be in the "on" postion after they have tripped. Turn it OFF , then back ON again.
Does the microwave, A/C and 120v outlets work ?
If all the 120v stuff works, and the battery is not charging while hooked up to good 120v power, you likely have a converter problem and prob best to take it back to the dealer for warranty .

Hi You all, those are good suggestions and in fact the dealer today identified the problem and said the battery was improperly wired to the charger. They say it is running properly now however the original Battery was destroyed and they replaced it. I will pick it up Wednesday and check it out. I will also try to get an explanation on the exact wiring problem and let you know. Thanks again, Stan
