New Eagle HT 30.5 MBOK

Hello new to the forum.
We just purchased the above unit before heading out on our first trip and on the way to AZ. I noticed no air coming from the heat ducts in the floor of the washroom and bedroom and upon investigation found the connection between the two floor ducts was never completed. Also the slide that has the couch, refrigerator and stove has a slight binding on the one side. Is it common on a new unit or might I have a problem unit. Going to call dealership back home when they open up again after New Years and hopefully get some answers. As far as the ductwork I can repair myself. Any suggestions on how to handle.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I'm going to do most repairs myself. The ductwork I would repair myself. If you can post a picture of your slide problem that would help a lot.

Welcome from Alabama.

Thanks 2naEagle. I’ve looked it all over everything seems to look ok but when closed up the trim seems to hit the floor and bend up somewhat. Pic2 is slide see how flooring as moved some. Pic3 is slide in. Pic4 is slide in showing buckling of the trim piece. Pic1 is duct work not connected that I can do as a easy fix once I get to AZ and the rest of my tools.

I also bought the 30.5 MBOK. We've had our share of problems with it but nothing that I consider serious. Our dealer has been pretty good about fixing it but their workmanship lacked attention to detail. It's in the shop right now to repaint the faded front cap. This is our 2nd new trailer and I now realize that these things are cheaply built using flimsy materials and you can expect things to fall apart.
We have grandkids and the layout of this rig is perfect for our needs.

I agree attention to detail lacks somewhat. We are looking forward to use it with the grandkids for sure. That was a big consideration with this unit.

Soan,
We just purchased a new 30.5 CKTS and our large slide was binding badly on our first couple of uses. I bought some slide lubricant from the RV dealer and performed the learn procedure for retiming the slide. The slide is now working perfectly. Also make sure after timing the slide, after extending it or retracting it make sure to hold the button down for a few seconds to maintain the timing. This is assuming your equipmed with Schwintek slide systems. Also I was told that you have to use the correct lubricant or troubles will occur later down the road. If you google Schwintek slide systems there is a good video on how to lube them and how to time the slide. I know it's covered under warranty but I prefer trying the easy stuff before going back to dealer, because most likely this is what they are going to do first anyway.
