new owner of Northpoint 310RLTS

Bought a 2020 Northpoint 310RLTS in March. Headed to the lake yesterday with the new rig and we get there only to find out the main a/c and refrigerator are not cooling down. Had to hook back up and headed to dealership first thing tomorrow morning. Does Jayco have a 24 hour service number. I called every number I had. Hope I won't be sorry for buying this....

Wow, you probably will have to take it back to the dealer, it is a shame to hear that the 2020 NP and the Pinnacle are having some problem but one thing for sure that once you get it taken care of it should be good, until something else goes wrong.

Welcome to the forum and congrats, hope you can get it taken care of soon.

We are thinking of ordering same model. What extras did you get? And which ones do you wish you got. Our must haves are Queen bed, 2 stage ref. 2 in rear hitch all vinyl floor. And are you glad you bough it?

Sadly, no. And during normal business hours, they can be hard to get ahold of. You will be better off with your dealer. If you are on the road away from your dealer, call the manufacturer of the troublesome component directly. For example I have gotten Dometic and Lippert on the blower right away with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Often they can ship a part directly to you under warranty without involving Jayco. If that is not in the cards to replace a part yourself, you can hire a local mobile RV tech, pay them, then submit the bill to Jayco for warranty for re-reimbursement, however they will normally not cover the "service call" portion of the invoice- just parts and labor.

You will be fine at the end of the day, though. We are over a year in FT and the rig is treating us well. Most debacles were self-inflicted and others have been handled well enough. We have the sidewall crack (since last summer) and are just now - or in three weeks - dropping it off at a reputable dealer for warranty repair.

You will be fine. Keep us posted and good luck.

Fortunately, in the bigger units there’s enough redundancy in things that you can generally be fine until you can fix something. Two AC’s, two ways to run a fridge(If RV fridge), manual operation of leveling system, two ways to run water heater, two water sources etc. Usually there’s a way to deal with things enough to make it.
