Rubber Roof

This has probably been addressed before about cleaning a rubber roof but not sure anyone has ever tried a product called Awesome to clean the roof then apply 303 protestant to it. Just wandering if anyone has used this product and it's safe to use on a rubber roof.

Haven't used Awesome. It may remove wax on the sidewalls when you rinse it off as will most cleaners. You also want to consider that it may damage the rubber over time. Probably best to contact the manufacturer of the particular type of rubber roof (EPDM or TPO).
303 is a good UV protectant for rubber but is expensive and will wash off with a couple of rain falls.

I just waxed the exterior with a good paste wax. Wasn't intending to rinse it with a hose. Thought about taking a bucket of water and using a sponge to wipe it with fresh water after cleaning it.

What does everyone use to protect the roof after cleaning it.

I just used diluted Simple Green and a 2000 psi pressure washer. Sprayed a section with cleaner using the pressure washer, let sit a few minutes, had a somewhat soft bristle brush on a handle that I worked the roof with then sprayed off. It worked quit well. I wouldn’t recommend doing it in the sun and I moved my vehicles away so they didn’t get overspray.
