Slow slideout

I looked through some posts, and didn't see this particular problem. Our dining room slideout started going very slow, in and out. Also, since this started, it is putting three orange lines on the linoleum floor. Not rusty orange, but marks that look like a crayon, but don't rub off. I lubed everything I could see underneath, and it's quieter, but something must be out of whack to make those marks. sound familiar to anyone?

Are you sure something didn't fall on the floor and is now under the slide?

I looked. It's three marks, left right and center. it looks like there are nylon skids on the bottom, but they're black, so probably not making the marks. All three lines start at the edge of the carpet and go to the extent of the slide travel. No apparent damage/marks on the carpet, though.

Slow slide

We had the same issue with our kitchen slide. Complained to the dealer. They said it was normal. It's not because our now out of warranty and now our slide doesn't work at all.

I’ve got two small orange lines as of last month on the lanoleum. Here’s the bottom of my slide currently. Not sure where the orange comes from.

I don't have those marks on the underside. Only the slightest amount of wear marks from the rubber gasket . I sprayed everything I could see outside with white grease, and my wife and I both think it's better. Haven't scrubbed up the orange marks on the lineoleum to see if they come back.

I wonder if the support rollers are starting to rust and that is what is causing the marks? You should be able to pull the gasket down enough to see them.

I thought the same, but they don’t line up with the rollers when I peak under there. It’s a mystery to me. Didn’t show up or at least I didn’t notice it till the trailer had sat for some time at the dealer. Probably it’s longest period without use.

I’ve tried simple green on the floor, but need to find something else as that get the orange out.
