Update on washing Full Body paint

I reviewed a string that was on here about a year ago I just wanted to get any new opinions. I read some stuff elsewhere that said stay away from microfiber cloths and brushes they would scratch the gelcoat.

Cannot find cloth baby diapers even at Wal Mart.

So I appreciate any comments

You don't have gel-coat with full body paint, it will be clear-coat just like a car/truck. So what ever you use on them will work.

Yep, just like your car/truck finish. Gelcoat is for fiberglass.

Read the link I posted above. I started it looking for an easier way to wash and wax the rig. I now have a soap cannon and an electric power washer. Of course it is pouring down rain today and tomorrow, maybe by the weekend I get a chance to try them out. Watch how you use the word OLD, I might take it personal, lol.

Well, I'm an old people too. In a previous life I mixed paint for an auto parts store. (Actually three of them.) Dupont Dulux enamel was what the body shops wanted for restorations, old tractors, and trains. Now Dupont has been sold, not much call for the old formulas.

The last store I worked at sold PPG. I'm not sure if they make alkyd enamel either. I've been away from that life for 35 years.
