Utility Sink Install

New to the forum and new to Jayco with a '23 Seismic 359 TH. We don't do normal camping primarily, but use it for our empty nester hobby, competition BBQ. We have no need or desire for a washer/dryer at the hookups in the garage, but think a utility sink would be useful for washing the big pans and utensils we use. I realize I may have to block it up a few inches to get to drain properly into the W/D drain. Do any of you have thoughts or suggestions about the install? This forum has been a wealth of knowledge so far, but I haven't found anything on this topic, and I appreciate any input.

Cool idea. I'm assuming all reasonable food bits are wiped out before cleaning. I don't see why it wouldn't work. My guess is you'll have better luck posting on forums that attract competitive cooks.

I agree with Taft - I see no reason why it wouldn't work but I would be very concerned about food scraps down the drain.

Thanks guys. I am concerned about sealing drain into washer drain, but I think I have it figured out. We scrape everything good before it is washed to remove solids and grease is put into disposal units provided by organizers at all events. Aside from that, we use extra wire strainers under the regular strainers/stoppers in the sinks. We didn't have any problems in 4 years with our TT toy hauler which didn't have W/D hookup. I thought this might be an opportunity to make things easier and save time. Thanks for reminding me to pick those strainers up.
