Fresh Water Tank

I loose 1/3 of my fresh water from tank when traveling. Tank has 3-1/2 inch hoses attached to the top corner. I assume water is lost thru these hoses during travel. Anyone experienced similar issue? if so any fixes for it?

Very common. The tank's very shallow, which makes it worse. There is no hose on the inside of your tank(s).

We have 2 tanks, so I added 1/4 turn valves to the ends of the overflow hoses. I have to remember to open them while filling the tanks, close for travel, and re-open them before using the pump.

Here is a thread discussing it. And some fixes. Many people put valve on the hoses to close off but it’s easy to forget to open them which isn’t good. Since I installed the air gap on mine I haven’t had the problem at all.

As Rustynuts says, many threads on the topic. There are others that can be found using the search in the gold bar at the top of the page or just a Google search will bring up any of them.

Unfortunately it is a fairly common issue. I did not look closely at Rustynuts link. There have been some really good postings in the past on how people did exactly what Rustynuts described on their Seneca.
