HELP with storage latch!

2018 Senaca. Have a compartment door latch not opening. Key turns as normal but latch not releasing! How can I get into it!! Thanks in advance.

Locksmiths can usually use shims to bump it open. Maybe you can search how to do that or what tools you would need.

Other option is drilling a hole from compartment next to it or from below to get a wire in there to pull the release.

Have you tried pushing in on the door while pulling on the latch?
