Hot water recirculate valve

Good evening

We do a lot of dry camping and we have a tankless water heater. We are wasting a lot of water waiting for the shower to get hot. We know we need a water line to go from the furthest fixture back to the fresh water tank.

Was wondering what the part number is for the beuler delay relay and the part number for the water valve

These are what I installed in my Seneca:

The stainless steel 12-volt solenoid valve: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The relay: https://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/bu510td.html

And something else I later installed in my recirculation system is an electronic countdown timer that I use in cold weather camping to help prevent the lines to and from my water heater from freezing. I can set a timing interval on this device, and at the end of the countdown the existing time-delay relay is triggered and water will flow through the system back to the freshwater tank. Then the countdown starts over and the cycle repeats as long as I have it enabled. Here is a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a tank-style water heater, but I suspect it would work similarly on a tankless heater to fire the heater and circulate the lines.

Larry - I just checked the part number of the relay I posted earlier and it is not the same as mine. It seems the delay "on" version has been discontinued, the part number I listed is for a relay that delays its closure. But what is needed is one that comes on immediately and has a delayed "off".

Sorry! I will see if I can find a comparable replacement.

Edit: Here is the correct replacement: https://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/b...hoCBhYQAvD_BwE

To save water on our boat we had a solenoid valve held closed by a latching relay circuit that released when a thermostat measured hot water had recirculated to the end of the line.

the valve we put in our Seneca came from Solenoidvalves.com, it is a 1/4" 12V DC Electric Brass Solenoid Valve

I have used the FRM01 programmable relay on several projects and really like it. Fast and easy to program and make adjustments. I have 2 programs preset for my water circulation system, one for normal use when boondocking and one for winter use that cycles every half hour.
