Location of slide motor(s) on 37FS Seneca 2016

Can someone tell me where the slide motors are located on a 37FS, that’s the one with the bunks, and how to access them in case of failure. The slide motor for the dinnet and couch are accessible through the cargo doors, I have checked that out extensively. Everything had to be done with you on your knees or trying to cram your upper body into that cargo space.

Lippert Slide Motors

On my 2014 37FS, they are located in the frame at the top and bottom, behind the rubber gaskets. Check out Lippert videos on You Tube for maintenance tips.

Good luck.

Terry is correct...one more input I have to say to this is keep those lubed up. Many times these fail because they are not lubed correctly or enough.

I've seen those videos and cannot determine exactly what's being lubricated behind the rubber seal when you hit it with the straw from the lube can. The motor bearing? pinion gear?

Gear on the track as I understand. Like the videos show, I spray into the rubber gasket area, and spray some on the track outside. (Probably my biggest fear is a slide failure.)

Always aware of over lubing or lubrication running off a vertical gear/track surface. So on the bunk/rear slide, are you suggesting lubing the visible track along top and bottom of the slide out front and back?

Is a dry lithium lube acceptable? I always make sure rubber gasket is lubed and slide sides are polished and waxed to make them slide easily.

I use the Lippert recommended one on the video. I think it s the green can as I recall. Likewise, I lightly lube the tracks, and use the baby power sock treatment for the rubber slide gaskets from time to time. I’m probably due now for all....

Has anyone noticed corrosion on the nylon rollers under the track? On my fiver the lower roller is exposed to spray from the tires and has rust on the center of it. I lube it regularly.

The there is nothing to lube on the lower tracks behind the rubber gasket on my slides.
