We have a residential and use it when we travel and you just need to make sure you turn on portability when you DO have cell service. We have gone from Oregon, our home, to WA, ID, MT, CO and back home and never did anything to change our location the whole trip.

Not if you have subscribed to the RV service. As I understand it, if you have the residential service and chose the portability option, you may have to connect to Starlink and tell them you’re on the move.

No... When the Dishy powers up, it uses GPS to locate exactly where it is, orients it's antenna array to align with where you are and does the rest on it's own.

If it determines that you are in a location other than your home location, it validates if you are subscribed to the mobile feature and validates your account... All without you lifting a finger.

I don’t have a ladder on my Seneca so I came up with a mount that goes on the cab mirror frame using 2 quick release fire extinguisher mounts which also give you the ability to put a lock through the mount holes once attached. The Starlink cable on just Cat5e and I have it all set up so I never have to remove the cable using their Proprietary plugs that seem to be pretty fragile. I cut the Dish end at about 10’ long and added a RJ45 weatherproof plug on the end and then mounted the socket up under the fiberglass cab corner. From the back side of the socket, the cable runs right up into the tv/fireplace cabinet of our RB and has a RJ45 end on it and the router has a 3’ cord on it with a RJ45 and just use a coupler to hook it it. I designed and 3D printed the adapter for the dish to the pole and also covers to go over the base mounts that stay on the mirror frameI have my house set up the same so I can just unplug the dish cable and router cable and move to the Seneca in bout 5 minutes.

I have a Jayco that is similar design to yours & I would like to know exactly how you connected your Starlink to the side mirror? Also can you let me know the brand of the pole, fire extinguisher brackets, the Cat5e, & the RJ45 weatherproof plug? Is the RJ45 plug what you have installed in the fiberglass cab going into the coach? Also would you be willing to share your prints for the adapter?
