Tank Flush Diverter Valve

I can’t find anywhere in the owner’s manual the purpose or operation of this switch. When I flush my black tanks I’ve been selecting the tank I’m flushing is this correct purpose of this switch?

Yes you are correct, but on our 21 Accolade the lines from that valve are backwards. Not a huge deal, I noticed it the first time I dumped tanks. Was trying to flush front tank but could hear the water flushing the back tank. And vice-versa. You might want to double check.
I changed the label with a sharpie.

Thanks. I think I have the same problem that’s why I asked the question.

You can hear which tank is being flushed. Then mark it on the control valve with a sharpie. I marked it 1/2 bath and full bath. Do not run the flush water in the tanks without the main dump valves being open! Don't ask me how I know
