Washing Seneca shorted fridge?

I was washing the Seneca and barely passed over exterior fridge compartment. Fridge started beeping and blinking L1 op. Have totally jacked something up?

You prolly got the hi temp circuit board wet. Open the bottom cover and try to dry it. You will se it exposed and it is a magnet for car wash and truck wash water. I’m guessing it’s a Norcold.

This happened to me as well. You’ll need to reset the reed switch in the black box on the rear. It has a red LED that should be lit. Get a strong magnet and pass it over the black box with the fridge off. Then turn the fridge on. It should reset. If not, keep trying.

so sorry for your experience on this... one big rule is that you don't let anything but rain touch the fridge vent. We have been lucky, but take great precautions to protect the insides from any water.

After replacing two (Blue Beacon and torrential rain on that side) I wrapped the next one with electrical tape. I think it will survive!
