2016 Jayco 26BHSW remove upper bunk

Our daughter is getting taller and she’s constantly hitting her head on the upper bunk. Although I’ll miss the storage on the upper, I’m wondering if anyone has removed the upper bunk. How hard is it to take it out? We would reinstall if and when we sell it.

I have been thinking of the same thing, ours gets less and less use. If I remove mine I hope to mount a fan and possibly a small tv on the wall, and stack the two mattresses to make it comfortable for guests, or myself as a doghouse if my snoring gets me kicked out of the bedroom.
