Hi. Has anyone encountered such a weird suspension setup by which it seems impossible to install a Roadmaster comfort ride slipper spring and shock system?? It's a tandem axle but it's hangers are actually welded about an inch and a half outside the trailer frame. Have bought the complete roadmaster system slipper springs RM-2560 and shocks RM-2450 at a very good price before delivery of the trailer. Had even checked with Roadmaster about weights, etc and confirmed I was good to go for a 5200 pound GVWR.
Then, after carefully studying instructions, I discovered with great surprise how the trailer was sitting on its suspension. Back to Roadmaster with pictures and they answered this was not a compatible setup and not to try to install!!
