25bh owners and reviews

Just bought a 2017 25bh. Anyone else own one of these? Wondering what your towing with. I’ll be using a 17 f150 screw 5.0 3.1 with tow package.

I don't own one but I'm looking to buy one when I can find one in my area.

Looking forward to hear if any current owners chime in.

As far as towing with your F-150 goes there are tons of threads on weighing your rig and proper setup.

That being said I've towed a similar trailer the last five years that's about 500 pounds heavier with a gmc 1500 and had no problems.

I'm a little slow going up really steep grades but that doesn't bother me.

Best of luck

Hi, yes we have a 25 BH and love it. Tow vehicle is a 2016 Toyota Tundra SRT Crewmax 4x4 with the 5.7 and tow package. Can't hardly tell the trailer is even there. Tows with no problems.

We have a 17 25bh. I pull it with a 17 ram 1500 5.7 3.92s and it does just fine. I have also pulled it with my 14 ram 1500 5.7 3.21s and that was OK as well. The 3.92s are better. We feel this is a great trailer. Easy to tow, great space and we got it at an amazing price. One thing I didn't realize before buying it is that you can not get into the bathroom while the slide is in. My only regret is that we don't use it enough. Also, a good wdh is a must. I use a blue ox and it has performed great as well. Any questions, just ask.

'17 25BH here too. Had a great summer last year with it, can't say i'd change anything about it. The floor plan is perfect for our family 4, tons of room inside. About the bathroom door, we just keep the door open and then close the slide and then you can get in. Pulled it 8 times last year with an 05 silverado 5.3l 3.42 gears and a 4 speed, low on power but it handled it ok. Excited to pull it this year as we've upgraded to a '17 ram hemi 3.21 gears and an 8 speed. Enjoy your new camper!

Thanks for all of your input. We upgraded from a 16 213 and can’t wait for the snow to melt so we can get out and use it.

upgrade TV

Just upgraded from JayFeather 19H to the 25BH. TV is 2014 Silverado with the 4.3 and 3.42. Just curious if I should look into upgrading the TV?

As I posted earlier in this thread, 17 ram 1500 5.7hemi 3.92 gears. It pulls it fine. I definitely know it is back there. I don't know the specs on your truck, ie payload or towing capacity. For example, my tongue weight is 900lbs and loaded we are about 6,000lbs (I think). I am within the capacities of my tv but I am closer than I would like to be to my limits. I would look for the payload on your truck, on a sticker on the drivers side door jamb and get your towing capacity and then use my numbers as a base. Understand that my loaded weights will be different, but use it to get you in the ballpark. I 'think' that you will be fine but when you get a chance and post the numbers and we can further help you. On a side note, a HD truck would hurt either.

Same yr/model as yours . I towed over 10K miles coast to coast with a F150, 5.0, 3:31 rear gears, tow package, Duel cam WD hitch, Timbren's on back, stock tires (235/75-17") loaded RV weight: 6,000lbs, Loaded truck: 6,100lbs. Slow go over high mountain passes & getting onto hwy otherwise okay, If I had 3:73 gears I might be happier, Never saw a change in tranny temps or engine temps in summer months. Good gas mileage on east coast flats 11.5-13mpg when towing & 19-22 mpg not towing, depending on wind. Mountain towing avg 10mpg's,
