I've had mine for years. It's not screwed down or stuck down at all. I've never had any problems with it moving around or damaging anything and I've put a lot of miles in.

I only used like 3/8" or 1/2" long screws though with the metal brackets. For the cabinet over the sink I made the split behind the blank panel between the two center doors. Shelves were a bit snug but not too bad. So much better utilization of space and light weight. Here are some detail pics of the install.

The shelves look great, Duke. Did you use anchors or anything? Without anchors, will the shelves hold the weight of dishes, etc?

I love the addition of the 3rd cabinet door too. Who woulda thought?? :-)

Thank you! It is certainly nice having the additional space in the cabinets. I did not use anchors. But I did try to put the screws in where the studs are in the wall. You can feel them by pressing on the wall. Screwing into the back of the cabinet faces are also very good connections. Have not had any issues with them at all. The center door in the Queen bunk is great to access that available space.
