AC Short Cycle

We have a 237RBS travel trailer. Sometimes the AC runs for a few seconds for 2-3 times then runs normal. Any ideas why? It's not all the time just after the trailer has reached the setting on the thermostat.

Make sure your vents aren’t pointed at that wall…. Mine was doing that last week and that was my issue.

We had a Cool Cat heat pump that did that. Some times it would do the start stop thing a half dozen times, with each interval getting longer than the previous, before it would run continuously. Changing the thermostat did not cure the problem. We had it replaced under warranty.

Short cycling can be a pressure problem or bad coil.
