Alarm when connected to power

This may be very simple, but I’m new to the RV world. When I hook up the battery or plug my camper in, an alarm comes on about a minute later and it’s constant until I disconnect all power. Any ideas what this may be and how I can fix it. Thank you.

Might be your co2/propane detector. It may be expired.

How old is your trailer?
Usually this is the propane sensor that's gone bad. They only last a few years then must be replaced, or do like most and cut the power wire going to it.

Welcome Aboard

What year and model do you have?

Honestly from your description I do not have a clue! If I was forced to guess I would guess the CO2/Gas detector. When I plug in shore power I do get a short "Beep". Only things I can think of would be the CO2/gas detector, Inverter, or the Frig. Have you ever, just walked in/around to determine where the sound is coming from?

Edit: 2005, I would go with the CO2/Gas Detector!

I took the propane bottles off to have them refilled, could that have triggered it?

It’s high pitched and constant. It’s in the main part of the camper in the middle I feel like near the fridge. But it rings in my ears so it’s hard to tell. It gets quieter in the bathroom, bunkhouse, or front bedroom

These sensors only last a few years like I mentioned and yours is way over due. In fact, if you remove the unit, there will be a decal on it with an expiration date.

Look for a square or rectangular white box near the floor, that is normally where the propane/co-2 detector is located.

Thanks guys, That’s what it was. I found it and disconnected it. I’ll be ordering a new one.
