Antenna

Neighbors using antenna that came with RV, picking up all locals and more. Tried mine out and nothing. Have turned antenna to try different spots, nothing. I’m wondering if it’s even connected to the wired co-ax , throughout camper.

Have you turned on the amplifier, usually a small push button on the coax plate that connects to your TV?

Does that boost the other rooms as well?

Did you do the scan? You need to let it scan for set up. As it scans it will tell you how many channels you have. Look in the settings of your t.v. under connections

Yes on the scan. Still no luck. Between Birmingham and Huntsville. Should work?

So you have the antenna booster ON and the TV set to Air and not Cable? Has it worked using Cable from an outside source, like at an RV Park?

I have a question on the antenna as to what year is the trailer and is it one of the famous that Jayco installed looks like a shark fin? If it is there is a ton of people who seem to think the performance is less than stellar, I am one of those people. Have contacted Jayco and the manufacturer of antenna and both have stated that there is no known problem. Well there you go so it must be okay. Still trying to figure out a work around on it as I do not wish to change the antenna and make new holes in roof.

The first time out I struggled to get mine to work. It was in the tv settings and scanning for channels. Don't remember what I did but after 10 or 20 minutes I got a magic combo and poof, tv!

Success on the antenna!! Had to remove wall plate though. Four co-ax had been disconnected from plate, which has only three connections. Assuming one is cable/satellite connection. Either way guessed 3 out of 4 and hit the right one.
