So it's been hot ,real hot here and with some due diligence I've been able to maintain 74-76° through the afternoons. I pulled all of the diffusers and taped the area between the ceiling and duct. Added a foam piece between the return and supply ducts to the grille. Also taped the entire return side of the unit. The cycling of the fan is quite annoying but is normal so I've discovered. It cycles between low and high to achieve set temp.

Strange thing is.... So far the more we use the a.c. The better it seems to work.. Of course it is still loud. I'm glad you're seems to be working as designed now. My cycle times seem to be getting better too. Went on roof Saturday and on the back seem about 2 feet from the ladder found a pin hole in the roof from what appears to be a staple under that spot. Glad I found it.

The extra foam between the supply & return really quieted the unit down a good bit. I have to drop the rear a/c grille and check it for air leaks now. That is unfortunate about your roof. Knock on wood I haven't found any on ours yet... The rubber on the bedroom slide roof has a bubble. Hopefully it doesn't progress.

Thanks for the invite! We're getting close to being caught up. Still have to get the roof back up over the deck. I have noticed that tank flush doesn't like pressure fluctuations! I'm really thinking of pulling the backflow out.

Guess jayco will not pay for the mobile tech since it is a TSB and not a full recall. I'm hoping my dealer will check it when they're in the area. If not I guess it's on me . I know I'm not going to wait till October to do it though. Since it takes months to get parts!

Don't even see how to access the heater ? I'm sure the return vent has to be pulled off.

Yup, it sits right behind the return grille below the pantry. It is actually in a serviceable location compared to my past trailers.

Yes pulled the grill off. I think the whole thing has to come out to get to any wires close to the exhaust vent.

Hey groundhog72 , have you winterized yet? Any surprises or things to look for ? We had a leak in our dinette window back In august. They snapped and stripped several of the screws at the top of the window which left water run inside the window. We're calling it for the year this weekend.

Not winterizing yet. Found my living area slide seal for when its closed had came out of the track. Easy fix going to do something with it to strengthen it up in place. My toilet clogs easy and the bowl will not hold water very long. Have rv pad at house with full hook up. Im bringing her home and do some mods and improvements this winter. Going to cost some money but i am also going to experiment with this camper this winter. Im going to just hook it up and see how much cold she will take. Thinking i will have an answer by February 1st and then winterize. Sounds crazy but she might serve as guest house for the out of towners visiting i get around the holidays. And I want to know what freezes first and at what temperature. I guess i still want to play with my new camper a little longer.. haha

Be careful with freezing. Last thing you need is for plumbing lines to burst. You’ll need to keep that furnace running to heat the underbelly.

We winterized yesterday. Everything went well except while rolling out the special ordered winter cover that is to small ...I spotted two spots where staples or something is pushing up against the rubber roof. Not exactly what I planned since we have our first snow of the season this morning !

We just had rain this morning. Was 49 at noon today. Let me guess. The staples are on the back seam that are poking up ? I had one actually come through. I ran 4 in wide eternal bond tape across the whole back seam. Very impressed with that product. Think i told you about that. So far that is the only spot i see with that problem. Yeah warranty would take care of it, but the trip to the dealer would cost more then the eternal bond tape. You might want to think about doing that for insurance.
