BR Door hook disconnects

The pin/hook hardware on the bedroom door of my 2016 Jayco White Hawk 29REKS seems to have a problem staying connected when I travel. I keep the door strap snapped in place before we travel. But the pin/hook further away from the door (driver side) opening keeps getting undone.

Is there something that I can do about this?

I'm not sure what you are saying.
Are you wanting the door closed during travel?
Accordion door?

Not an accordion door. It is a single piece, held up on a track above the door by two pins that suspend from the gliders on the track. The pins also engage the hook assemblies on the top of the door. When the door is properly on track, the hook assemblies have a hook that secures the pin ends into the hook assembly.

When finish driving on the highway, we find that one of the two hooks becomes disengaged from the pin and allows the door to drop on that end, to the floor. The other hook/pin is still engaged. Sorry that I don’t have a photo now. I’ll see if I can find one online.

Here is a web site that shows the hardware. If it isn’t the same, it’s very similar anyhow.

If it is the same one that always comes loose because the locking latch is too loose?

Try:
1. Wrapping a rubber band or small cord in the latch swivel to tighten the resistance, or
2. Secure with a small piece of duct tape, or
3. Spread rivet a bit more until snug.

If I'm not misunderstanding you, either of the three should work.
