Flair-it or SharkBite

Looking for some experienced opinions.

What's better: Flair-it or SharkBite connectors?

Thanks,
Rick

I've used a ton of shark bite connectors over the years with only 1 defective fitting.

Not a lot of experience with flare it, but they were a little more sensitive to perfect alignment and torque.

Shark Bite is a lot faster and easier, you just push.

Depends on what you are doing, I would flare for a lpg (propane) line, and sharkbite, flare, pex compression, or compression ring fittings, for a water line. Sharkbites are pretty good for water lines wherever you can use them, certainly easier to install. ~CA

Rick,

I've found over the years they both get the job done when dealing with PEX related issues, and I have an assortment of both in my RV plumbing bag.

I try not to use ether. What I like about Shark-Bite, is exactly what Grumpy said. Basically push it on and your good to go. Only time I try to use them is in a repair situation where access is really difficult.
