Flat tire - What to do when it happens??

What equipment does most RVers have when it comes time to change a flat?
It hasn't happened yet but I want to be prepared in the event.
Any and all info will be helpful in my decisions...

Tools

The same as on your TV - small hydraulic jack is much easier and faster than the manufacturer supplied jack and a 4 way lug wrench - and the tire chocks that you use when setting up camp Les

You need a jack (I use the bottle jack from my truck) and the appropriate size lug wrench. I use a socket and impact wrench because my aluminum rims won’t allow a lug wrench to fit in the hole

Other people use the Anderson ramp device instead of a jack.

Make sure the spare is good. Mine was a no-name from China which I replaced with a G’year Endurance.
A set of hazard markers to ward off traffic.
A way to get the tire off the ground safely. I have an Anderson Rapid Jack.
A long breaker bar to loosen the lug nuts. I got a nice long one at Harbor Freight.
A 4 way tire tool. I have one but it’s really optional.
A torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts correctly.
The correct size of socket for the breaker bar and torque wrench.
Maybe a piece of cardboard, rug, mat or tarp to kneel on while you are working.

Hope you never need it but it’s good to be prepared.
A road-side assistance plan might be a good idea as well.
Magnolia’s comments are good, make sure whatever you get will work.

...And a piece of 2x6 to place under the jack in case you are not on pavement. Know your lug torques!

Get a "trailer aid" from tractor supply. plus the lug wrench or impact. They come in metal and plastic. It is a very big help.

Personally, I bring along a transvestite in case I get a flat.

"Why?" you may ask?

Because everyone knows how fast a transvestite can change attire!

Oh by the way--- The " trailer aid" that I mentioned in my previous post only works with dual axel trailers. Sorry to pass on incomplete information.

Make sure you have the correct socket for the lugs on your spare tire. On my WhiteHawk the socket required to get the spare off is bigger than the socket for the wheels on trailer. In my case its the same socket I use for my waterheater plug. I have no idea why they would do this.

Another good idea from a lesson learned. Everybody should be taking your wheels off to grease the bearings right? In case you have those buddy bearing kits, you should still exercise your lug nuts. Had this on my snowmobile trailer, and tried to take a tire off and broke 2 of the 4 lugs off. Luckily it was in my garage. But valuable lesson learned.

Once you have all the necessary tools to change a tire, be sure to inspect your spare periodically to insure you can get it free from its storage and that it is properly inflated.

I had to replace a tire that threw the tread while on the road and found that the slides on the spare tire rack wouldn't slide to release the tire. I had to borrow a socket set to remove the pivot bolts on the other side of the trailer to release the spare.

I just returned yesterday from an 8800 mile trek to the Rockies and high plains. I had two flats on this extended trip. Also, interestingly, on the same tire position, right real trailer tire.

Took off tires off both times using a Trailer-Aid. Rolled the good tire up on the Trailer-Aid, and got about 2 inches of clearance for the flat tire.

The first repair, included switching the spare, same age as the ones on the ground, to the repaired tire's aluminum rim.

2nd time didn't matter, since the spare already had a patch by that time.

And as others mentioned make sure you have a socket, or lug wrench that will also fit the lugs on the spare. They are larger than the lugs on the 4 aluminum rims on the ground.
