fresh water tank in freezing temperature

I am planning to travel to florida from kansas city in december
I am planning to fill up fresh water tank prior to departing
but the temp in kansas city might be freezing
do you think it is possible that fresh water tank can freeze while the rv is being towed ?
I need water while i am in transit
maybe just stopping overnight at walmart parking lot

I find pipes normally don’t freeze unless you’re in the mid 20’s all day. I also haven’t had issues with the tank freezing until it’s well below zero for a few days. I’ve spent hundreds of nights in ski resort parking lots, the first couple nights are easier to keep stuff thawed than the 3rd night and more.

Someone can correct me, but I believe it's very difficult for moving water to freeze. If it's in the tank and sloshing as you drive, you should be okay for mid 20 temps for a little while.

You could keep a few jugs of antifreeze inside the trailer and use that to flush the toilet. Bottled water could take care of everything else.

I camp in the low 20's with an exposed underbelly with a full tank and have never had an issue.

Moving/sloshing water wont want to freeze. A buddy of mine, he goes to Florida in his baby MH. He just hauls some jugs of water for their traveling needs, and de-winterizes when he gets there. He keeps a little windshield washer fluid down the drains to help keep the tanks from freezing.
